The COS Pink Shirt

Who doesn't love pink right now? Like come on it is everywhere and its bloody lush so I have been stocking up on as many pink items I can find to update my wardrobe for the summer. Here is a little pink centered outfit that I came up with..

Shirt - COS
Jeans - Zara
Shoes - New Look

Again sorry for the squinty eye but it was so bright!

This shirt was one of the first pinky things I bought which is quite unusual for me as shirts aren't usually my thing, I tend to go for pretty casual clothes. But I just fell in love with the colour (obvs) and I really liked that its oversized and very clean cut. But being me I wanted to casj it down a touch soo paired it with ma trusty blue jeans and white sandals to keep that summery feel going on.

I really wanted to try this shirt out with an outfit that was a little more neutral so that the pink really stood out but when I tried it on with my white jeans I just don't think it looked right and then I tried it out with a camel a-line skirt but again that didn't really work either.
I have seen on instagram somewhere someone wearing a similar shirt with camel leggings or trousers (i'm not sure which) and it looked really good. So I think, maaaaybe I'll go on the hunt for something along those lines to also wear in that neutral tones kinda way.

I do love it with jeans though, the casual denim blue with the white I think just add a summery vibe thats not too casual and not too dressed up but somewhere inbetween. Perfect for a brunch date or something like that.

What do you like to wear on your summery inbetween days?

  1. The origins of the contemporary golf shirt and polo shirt goes back to the late 1920's. Designed by a world-ranked tennis player, his tennis shirt soon became the shirt-style of choice among athletes whose sport was played outdoors.

  2. When buying a polo shirt , make sure you pay close attention to the collar positioning on the shirt. The buttons should technically come down little over your armpits and not below. This way, whether you choose to wear them buttoned up or otherwise, it lends you a smart look.
