Feeling Black & Blue

Jeans - Zara
Top - Asos
Boots - Asos
Bag - eBay

When I was younger I used to think it was like a cardinal sin to wear blue denim jeans with a black top or black jeans just because I preferred the blue of the jeans to stand out more with something like white. And to be honest its only been recently that I have started wearing this combo and realising how much I love it.

Blue jeans just have that easy casual vibe that no other colour of jeans can ever have. I really love playing with this, pairing them up with something a bit smarter. I went for the turtle neck as the weather it still rather nippy and I didn't want to go too smarty with a shirt. I got this top in a bigger size because I wanted a baggy fit that was baggy because it was big not because it was made floaty (you know what I mean?).

And the boots, ahh the boots, (serious love for these babies) I prefer these with trousers I think compared to when I styled them up before with a skirt. I like that lil bit of bare leg to just emphasize them a little bit more. I think the boots just complete the outfit and give it that final touch of chic that ya gotta love.

Anyone else have strange fashion rule when they were younger too?

  1. Gotta love a casual but stylish outfit, especially with that bag! Is there any chance you could tweet me a link to it through Twitter (@isobelceline) I've been dying to get my hands on one!
